Chris Matthews began his life behind the lens back in 1991 when he went on a driving holiday to Northern Queensland and decided to record his adventure. As he looked through the lens for the first time a whole new world opened up and suddenly he found himself searching out the unusual angle and position for the common and not so common of holiday images.

What he ended up with at the time were rolls of inspiration and ideas and a need to discover more about this world of photography.

Once this realisation hit home to him photography became a Passion and a Profession. He has completed courses at the Brisbane College of Photography and Art, combined with the many years of experience he has gained this Professional Photographer takes pride in creating images that both evoke emotion and satisfaction for the viewer whether it is a Bride and Groom or a Managing Director.

His tools of trade are, digital cameras, light natural and artificial (day or night) time and patience coupled with his experience and creative spirit all go towards producing Professional Photography.

Chris's style as a Professional Photographer is personal and unique, sometimes photo journalistic, other times creative and candid. His aim is to capture the emotion and spirit of the subject matter by using his tools of trade in a way that the end result will have his clients coming back for more.
